Responsibilities
Ø Responsible for designing and manufacturing of new press tools, injection and compression moulds, jigs, gauges and fixtures.
Ø Responsible to provide tool specification for new tools development.
Ø Tool design review and validation.
Ø Responsible to maintain the existing tools in-house and external ones and to prepare and execute supplier tool audit at supplier end. To ensure the proper maintenance of Thermoset injection tools at supplier end.
Ø Responsible for preventive and breakdown maintenance of tools.
Ø Management of tool assets for SIPL.
Ø Tool modification feasibility for DCP/ECN support.
Ø Budget preparation for renewal of out of life tools.
Ø Authorized to approve tool design for manufacturing in AP.
Ø Project Management.
Requirements
Ø 5 Years diploma in tool engineering in mould/tool design.
Ø Minimum 10 years of experience in tool design and development and management of commercial tool room.
Ø Aptitude for team working.
Ø Strong commitment.
Ø Integrity and be honest.
